here's what christina's initial email to me said when she first wrote a year ago:
I'm from Westchester and he is from Rochester, NY but we live up in Boston. My family has a long history with Southern Vermont since the 1800's and my parents have a ski house up at Stratton, so that's why VT. Andy and I have been together for about five and a half years. He proposed in Paris in April. We actually got caught up in the Icelandic volcano- we were sitting in the plane before takeoff and he checked his iPhone to see the headline. 4 flights later we landed in Nice (it was the closest we could get to Paris) and drove 10 hours in a rental car, arriving in Paris at 3am. Andy had the ring in his pocket the entire time. So that's pretty much our story...
i think i knew i wanted to shoot their wedding before we even met! she had mentioned that she wanted to apply a rustic DIY style to a big wedding of 250+ guests... + I think they pulled it off flawlessly! when christina kicked off her heels before the ceremony to walk barefoot into a big field for photos, i knew she was my kind of girl. andy + christina live in boston, but when planning their wedding, decided to make the event a destination weekend for their friends + family. they were so laid back, so happy, + it's clear... so perfect for each other! it was pretty much one of the most fun wedding weekend's i've ever been apart of. so happy for you two!
