i like to joke that i've been to africa... + i've been to india... i've been to south east asia in the height of summer... + none of those hot spots can come close to comparing how hot august can be in nyc. the last 3 days have been relentless in the humidity dept. it's not pretty + it's left me just yearning for a cool breeze + ocean views. so this wedding was a happy reminder of just how magical an oceanside bluff can be on an amazing june day. meet katie + bill. katie's in fashion, bill's a firefighter. They had the loveliest of weddings out on orient point on the north fork of long island. i love that katie had a giant basket of vintage handkerchiefs for guest arriving at the ceremony... + i love her amazing tablescapes... all the china plates were different + the tables had all different hand embroidered runners + linens. her incredibly talented friend sam designed the dress just for her, + driftwood farms was the perfect place to make her vision a reality... (not to mention that i kind of love how bill + katie managed to have a barn wedding, while still keeping things so elegant + but not too stiff or formal) anyways, here they are!
